The current housing market continues to remain strong largely due to the shortage of homes on the market.
As a result of this lower-than-average inventory, we are seeing homes sell more quickly and receiving multiple offers, which indicates an increase in buyer activity.
This is creating a promising opportunity for homeowners who are contemplating selling their properties during this Spring season. Also, as we move into the warmer months, we can expect a rise in market activity.
Here are some stats from the latest report:
- 1,856 Active Listings (4% decrease from previous report)
- 922 New Listings in April (11% decrease from March)
- 1,882 homes sold in April (9% drop from March)
- $832,500 Median Price for Sold Homes
- 23 Average Days on Market (down from 30 in the previous month)
